Windows\u00a0XP Mode en Windows 7<\/span><\/h1>\n

Ante las dudas surgidas, paso a remitirles los requerimientos que una m\u00e1quina debe tener para poder ejecutar XP Mode, en las versiones Professional y Ultimate de Windows 7. Espero que les sirva de ayuda.<\/p>\n

Es lo mejor de ambos mundos: el nuevo Windows\u00a0XP Mode le permite ejecutar su antiguo software empresarial para Windows\u00a0XP en el escritorio de Windows\u00a07.<\/p>\n

Windows\u00a0XP Mode est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado principalmente para peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas, se obtiene como una descarga independiente y funciona solo con Windows\u00a07 Professional y Ultimate. Windows\u00a0XP Mode tambi\u00e9n requiere un software de virtualizaci\u00f3n, como Windows Virtual PC. Ambos est\u00e1n disponibles en forma gratuita en el sitio web de Microsoft.<\/p>\n

Note los siguientes requisitos para poder utilizar XP Mode:<\/p>\n

  1. Windows Virtual PC requiere al menos un CPU con Intel\u00ae Virtualization Technology o AMD-V\u2122 activado.<\/li>\n
  2. No todas las m\u00e1quinas, aun aquellas nuevas, tienen la capacidad para ejecutar virtualizaci\u00f3n en hardware. Aunque su PC sea nueva, puede no tener virtualizaci\u00f3n en hardware.<\/li>\n
  3. Adicionalmente, esas PCs con virtualizaci\u00f3n en hardware tiene esta opci\u00f3n apagada de f\u00e1brica, necesitar\u00eda activar la capacidad antes de poder utilizarla, verifique con su manufacturero.<\/li>\n
  4. Procesador a 1 GHz 32-bit \/ 64-bit requerido.<\/li>\n
  5. Memoria (RAM) de 2GB o mayor.<\/li>\n
  6. 15GB de espacio de disco duro por cada m\u00e1quina virtual.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
